In our Horse Powered Reading® and Horse Powered Math programs, we take the learning out of the class and into the arena to harness the power of the horses integrating social-emotional learning with academics. Students see and experience reading and math with their entire mind, body and emotions by creating metaphors for the skills involved in reading and math through the horse.

 

This program allows for movement in learning where the horse becomes a part of the learning material the student must connect with to help with phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension and/or math and numeracy skills. From children who are struggling to teens who could use a little help from a four legged teacher, we are able to custom create a program to meet your needs.
